Our mission

SoroSokeBrands decodes Nigerian marketing through culture, data, and plain language. We publish analysis, opinion, interviews, reports, and guides that help marketers, founders, and creators make smarter decisions.

What we publish

  • Campaign Breakdowns – deconstruct the strategy, creative, distribution, and results of notable Nigerian campaigns.
  • Trend Reports – pull signals across platforms (TV, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, OOH) to explain what’s rising or fading.
  • Interviews & Spotlights – conversations with brand/agency leaders and creators.
  • Playbooks & Guides – practical how‑tos rooted in local realities (budgets, tools, channels).
  • Data Drops – quick monthly snapshots with charts and takeaways.

Standards

Accuracy & Sourcing

  • We verify claims using primary sources where possible (original documents, financial statements, ads libraries, platform help docs, first‑party analytics shared by interviewees).
  • When using secondary sources, we link and name them clearly.
  • Quantitative claims include methodology or footnotes.

Corrections

  • We correct inaccuracies promptly. Significant corrections are labeled at the top of the article with Correction:, plus the date and what changed.
  • Readers can flag issues via press@sorosokebrands.com.

Conflicts & Independence

  • We don’t accept gifts, paid trips, or incentives that could bias coverage. Interview guests don’t review copy before publication (except to verify quotes).
  • If an editor/author has a business relationship with a subject, we disclose it inline.

Attribution & Linking

  • Always credit original reporting, data, or visuals with a link. Use rel=”sponsored” or rel=”nofollow” for any paid placements; editorial links are do‑follow by default.

Sponsored, Ads & Affiliate Policy

  • Sponsored content is labeled at the top as “Sponsored” and uses rel=”sponsored” on outbound links.
  • Sponsored articles are created by our team to our standards; sponsors don’t control final editorial decisions.
  • We may use affiliate links where relevant. Such posts carry an Affiliate Disclosure and links use rel=”nofollow sponsored”.

AI Use Disclosure

  • We may use AI tools for research assistance, outlines, or transcription, but humans report, verify, and edit. Final copy is reviewed by an editor.

Privacy

  • We respect off‑the‑record and background agreements. We anonymize sources when there’s reasonable risk of harm.

Comments & Community

  • We welcome civil debate. Hate speech, personal attacks, spam, and off‑topic promotion will be removed.
